This is a short walk mainly in woodland and partly following the route of the old railway line used to build reservoirs. It starts with steep steps down and then follows the railway line, after which you then head down hill and follow the river down stream. Arriving at the mill pond continuing down to Gibson Mill. Gibson Mill is a National Trust property with facilities and refreshments available at the Weaving Shed cafe. From here you can then head back up the hill up the stone stepsto end at the Clough Hole car park, catching the 906 bus back. At Gibson Mill there is an option here to add a mile onto the walk following a wide track that contours along through woodland to Midghole car park to catch the 906 bus. The route can be muddy, so grippy footwear advisable. Dog/Family friendly area
